Work Place Committee Report
Employers in industries under federal jurisdiction use this form known as LAB 1058 to report annually the activities of their organization’s workplace committee.(Health and Safety Committee) This report is due no later than March 1st of each year.
Employers, under the Health and Safety Committees and Representatives Regulations, s.10, the chairman selected by the employer’s representatives on the committee (employer’s co-chairman) must submit each year, a work place committee report (LAB1058), by providing all the data requested on the form. (The three sections at the top right hand corner are reserved for Employment and Social Development Canada, Labour Program, use only.)
The work place committee reports LAB 1058 are pretty straight forward to fill in and send off to your regional ESDC Labour Program office.
