Trucking: Alternative Assessment Procedure

Does your trucking company travel outside of Nova Scotia? Do you know how the Alternative Assessment Procedure (AAP) makes your reporting easier?


The AAP is a no-cost, optional program that lets you pay premiums only to the WCBs in provinces where your workers or brokers live. You don’t have to report based on kilometers travelled any more, or have WCB accounts in areas that you only travel through.
