Truck Convoy – Special Olympics
Reserve the date of September 24, 2016, for this must attend trucking industry event, the Special Olympics Truck Convoy will take place at CFB Shearwater NS.
The truck convoy unites trucks and professional drivers from all over Nova Scotia to raise money for a most worthwhile cause, Special Olympics. Since 2012 the first time the truck convoy was held in Nova Scotia, the number of trucks and money raised has grown each year.

Truck Convoy History
The World’s Largest Truck Convoy is an international, one-day celebration of the trucking industry to raise funds for, and showcase an awareness of, and change attitudes toward people with intellectual disabilities. With the support of the trucking industry for the Athletes of Special Olympics Nova Scotia. This international movement incorporates over 12,000 trucks and athletes in 24 states and 4 provinces.
The year 2012 marked the first annual convoy in Atlantic Canada of its kind. Now we are continuing to build this tradition with the help of our good friends in the trucking industry. You can be a part of this exciting event and help shape the history of Special Olympics in Nova Scotia.
