NSTSA Operations During Covid-19 Government Directive

Effective Thursday, March 19, 2020, Nova Scotia Trucking Safety Association’s physical office location is closed until further notice. All in-person services, i.e. meetings, courses and safety audits are postponed indefinitely as our province, nation and the world respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, Nova Scotia Trucking Safety Association (NSTSA) is open for business. To maintain the health and safety of our staff and our communities and in keeping with our government’s directive to stay home, NSTSA staff is working remotely and is available by phone and email.

Nova Scotia Trucking Safety Association deems this a necessary and proactive measure to help reduce the risk of transmission of this virus and keep our employees, their families, our members and communities safe.

For those who have a training certificate or “safety certified accreditation” issued by the Nova Scotia Trucking Safety Association that will expire in the upcoming weeks, please contact us. We are issuing extensions to all training certificates and “safety certified accreditations” for an additional month. This process will be monitored regularly until we are able to conduct in-person meetings, in class training and on-site safety audits.

Please note that NSTSA offers on-line WHMIS 2015 training at: http://ns.sjatraining.ca/RegisterNSTSA.php

Should you wish to contact us, we are available Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. by phone and will respond to emails promptly.
